We are a vibrant, welcoming, family church in Hadfield
(near Glossop), of all ages and backgrounds, engaging in worship, prayer, Bible study, and fellowship.

We are passionate for Jesus, desiring to live in the power of the Holy Spirit, to know God better through His word, and to share His heart of love with our community.

We know God transforms lives for the better, and we want to share our experiences of Him (Psalm 145:4).

SUNDAY

We meet to worship God together every Sunday at 10:30am
with a warm welcome for everyone. Our services tend to be informal, with opportunity for people to express themselves, pray, and listen to what we believe God is saying, with a view to living out our lives in the abundant and exciting way promised in the Bible (John 10:10).

Singing and music play a big part of our worship
and we are blessed with a fantastic band of musicians and singers who lead us in our praise, using a wide range of modern worship songs and some traditional hymns (albeit often in a different style than they were originally sung!).

Our Sunday School for different age groups follows a fun programme of age appropriate teaching and activities. Our dedicated team of Sunday school teachers are all approved by the church leadership and hold DBS certificates.

From time to time we have a ‘café style’ service
where we invite family and friends to share breakfast, worship in different ways, and explore key messages in the Bible.

MID WEEK

Our Tuesday Coffee Morning & Prayer at 10am is a time for deepening friendships and an open door for our community.
It is followed by a Beginners Bible Study at 12.30pm, learning the basic truths of our faith.

Our Wednesday Fellowship Evening at 7.30pm is a time
where we can share and study God's word more deeply together.

Sharing God's love with our local community is important
to us, especially through friendship and food . . .

Our monthly Wednesday Community Meal and Saturday Community Breakfast are free to all, run by a wonderful team of volunteers.    (Food Hygiene Rating: 5)
If you join us, you will be sure of a warm welcome, great friendship, and free and delicious home-cooked food.

We are also blessed to work closely with local group Hadfield Coming Together who run Bellies not Bins,
a weekly food distribution service on Thursdays, along with other community events.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

INSPIRED WORD OF GOD
We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, the infallible, and the all sufficient rule for faith and practice.

UNITY OF THE ONE TRUE AND LIVING GOD

We believe in the unity of the One True and Living God who has also revealed Himself as One existing in three Persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

LIFE OF JESUS

We believe in the virgin birth, the sinless life, the miracles of Jesus, His substitutionary atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension, and the abiding intercession of the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe in His personal, visible, bodily return in power and glory as the blessed hope of all believers.

FALL OF MAN

We believe in the fall of man, who was created pure and upright, but fell by his own voluntary transgression.

SALVATION THROUGH FAITH

We believe in salvation through faith in Christ, who, according to the Scriptures, died for our sins, was buried and was raised from the dead on the third day, and that through the shedding of His blood, we have redemption.

NEW BIRTH

This experience is also known as being born again, and is an immediate and complete work of the Holy Spirit upon initial faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

BAPTISM BY IMMERSION IN WATER

We believe that all who have truly repented and believe in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour are commanded to be baptised by full immersion in water.

BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT

We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit as equipping the believer with power for service for the Kingdom of God. Biblical evidence of which is the speaking in other tongues as directed by the Holy Spirit.

GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

We believe in the operation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit and the gifts of Christ in the Church today for the building of His Kingdom.

HOLINESS OF LIFE

We believe in holiness of life and conduct in obedience to the command of God.

DIVINE HEALING

We believe that God can heal spiritually and physically and that divine healing is provided for in the atonement of Jesus on the cross.

BREAKING OF BREAD

We believe that all who have truly repented and believe in Christ as Lord and Saviour should regularly participate in Breaking of Bread

RESURRECTION OF ALL WHO TRULY BELIEVE
IN JESUS CHRIST

We believe in the bodily resurrection and the everlasting conscious joy for all who truly believe in our Lord Jesus Christ and the everlasting conscious punishment of all whose names are not written in the Book of Life.
